After our visit to Revello we set off just before mid-day to sail back North West back along the Amalfi coast and then to the Island of Procida.

 

We had no wind along the Amalfi coast but as soon as we passed the point to head North West (opposite Capri) the wind filled in providing us with a lovely two and a half hour beat in 10 knots of wind, giving 6  knots of boat speed.

 

We arrived in the big marina on Procida, which unfortunately lacked any charm unlike the other places we have visited in the area. Funny as the other side of the Island, the town on the cliff top looked lovely.

 

Anyway we are off early tomorrow to head west to the small Island of Ventotene about fifteen miles off the coast, then further North West to the Island of Ponza - said by an Italian boat in Amalfi, to be the best Island in the Med. - we will see but he did warn us that Procida isn't great and he was right.
