Off we set at 9.30am for an easy/calm 30 mile leg
up the coast. As per the last week we were greeted with a head on easterly wind
which while 8/9knots for the first 30 minutes quickly died to 2/3knots. As I
think our old frends Bali Hi, from Rally Portugual, reported up this coast
'The motoring holiday continued'.
Alison continues to be dissappointed that we have
seen no Dolphins since she joined the boat.
Caleta is north of Malaga and certainly out of the
mainstream holiday areas of the Costa Del Sol - The port is largely for fishing
boats and small local boats with a few larger visitors. A few good
cheap/local restaurants around the port may be interesting.
Like most of the ports there is a beach very close
by which was certainly welcome given 32/34 degrees.
Our FM radio has gone off again - having fixed the
arial connection in the Algarve and had great reception, it for no reason
once again picks up badly and fiddling with the arial connection has
done nothing - Really frustrating.
