We moved on from Cary le Rouet to the island Marina
of Frioul (All of 6 miles). This Marina/Island is just off Marsailles town, of
which we have a great view. The Island is very rugged and other than the marina
and a few appartments around the marina is uninhabited. We spent a few hours
anchored in on of the bays around the island and had a nice swim &
lunch etc.
The weather at present is dead calm and pretty hot
so not much sailing even if one wanted.
We will stay here two nights as today is a bank
holiday and is expected to be busy, so moving marinas might not be easy -
squatters rights being the safer option. Hopefully the French will start to go
home next week and hopefully it should be much quieter from the
21st.
We will leave visiting Marsailles itself until
Kathryn is with us.
