We set off early from Palma for the trip back to Ibiza. The wind was set to be E/SE so a broad to beam reach. There was a fair swell left from the day before's wind which wasn't wonderfully comfortable at times but no real problem. The wind was really very variable sometimes only 8 knots and up to 20 knots at others. The result was some motor sailing and some very good sailing reaching nearly 8knots.

We had one solitary dolphin play with us for about 5 minutes and I saw my usual flying fish (no one else ever does so I am not totally believed).

A large number of boats were heading to Mallorca but few going our way.

We arrived in the NE corner of Ibiza at about 3.30pm and anchored up in one of our now well used Cala's 'Portinax'.

A very peaceful night at anchor with about twenty other boats. Certainly lots more than we saw when we were here in May & June.

It is interesting to see the mix of flags at anchor. In Menorca large numbers of French & Brits. Mallorca was French, Brits & Germans. Now in Ibiza it is mainly Brits. with a few others.
