Here we are in Gib. - Chris is going to go home
from here, leaving Alison and I to poddle up the Spannish coast. Whilst he gets
a flight and a strong easterly (Levante) is forecast Monday/Tuesday we will
probably stay here until mid next week. The marina is the cheapest I have ever
been too - which is OK too.
Seems to be a quiet place - went to Morrisons
yesterday. It was like shopping in the UK except for the prices - Baked beans
twice the price of England but gin half the price (being a duty free zone) - you
can guess what I will be living on!
Did some of the tourism yesterday with a cable ride
up the rock to see the monkeys and the views. Lots more to do yet like the World
War 2 caves.
Picture 1 - looking down into the bay across to
Algeciras. The marina (left hand side) is were we are moored up
Picture 2 - some of the local
residence
