Again we set off at a leisurely pace heading North.
The day was much the same as yesterday with light head on winds until mid-day
when it swung SE and we were able to sail again at about 5 knots or so for
the rest of the day.
At around mid-day we poped into the bay/harbour at
Peniscola to see and photo the old town and Knights templar castle on the rock
peninsular.
The day ended in the new MDL owned marina here at
Santa Carles. It is really empty and pretty cheap, but has good facilities
including a nice pool. We will stay here two nights as tomorrow
afternoon/evening gale force winds are forecast. Hopefully when that blows through we can go up to
Tarragona
