Good day, we left the weird marina at Rocello
Ionica after a comfortable, and free, night, the exit was worse than the
entrance with big Malibou style rollers breaking all around us and the
echosounder showing less than a metre of water under our keel, got away without
touching and found a lovely North East wind which blew us down the coast to the
'toe' if Italy at a spanking 7 to 8 knots, motored the rest of the way to Reggio
Calabria where we refueled and tied up in the tatty marina for the night, there
is electric and water but it stinks of sewerage and the charge is a hefty 55
euros a night, ah well, thats boating!
