All went very well for the launch yesterday
afternoon, P3 looks really good after I cleaned the hull with some wonder
chemical last year, it has stayed shiny and clean and we now wonder whether we
need a respray should we keep her. We pottered out into the lagoon and tied up
against the Preveza harbour wall, right alongside the town and the walkway along
the waterfront with its numerous cafes and bars, I did suggest to Carol that it
might be a tad noisy as it was Saturday night but was told that it would be
fine. We strolled out in the evening and had a truly ghastly supper, our fault,
everything was deep fried and we couldn't eat it all and brought most of it home
in a box, don't fancy it any more today, fish food I fear. The broker rang to
say our prospective purchaser was on the plane from Australia, hope he isn't
going via Uk with the ash fallout that we have only just heard about, seems we
were lucky to get away. Spent a very noisy night, bars open until about 0400 and
slept fitfully, never mind, all part of this cruisin' life as they say. Awoke to
bright sunshine, breakfast in the cockpit and very warm. Lovely.
