Paradise! We finally made the Marina in Corfu
around 1900 last night after what seemed like an eternity of motoring, the dear
old Perkins never missed a beat and we were ok for fuel, which was not full when
we left, some skipper! The marina here is fabulous, fairly cheap, very friendly,
and with excellent facilitries, good chandlers, huge supermarket in the village
about 5 minutes bicycle ride away, a lovely swimming pool, all you have to
pay for are the sun loungers at 2 euros a day not extortionate. We are happy to
spend 3 nights here and look forward to going to meet Carols niece and her
husband, Michelle and Julian, tomorrow evening, spoken to a charter skipper this
pm and got some nice places to cruise to for the next 10 days before we set off
for the haul out and home, end of Sept, do we want to go home? well, the way I
feel atr present, yes, for maybe a few weeks to see family and friends but for 6
m,onths winter? I don't know, we are a couple of mixed up kids at
present.
