Dreadful early flight, up at 0345, taxi at 0400
problems with handluggage, security guy said our folding grapnel dinghy anchor
was a lethat weapon (suppose he had a point) so we had to check the hand bag
through to the hold, then we got to the boat and the marina said I had not
checked out correctly so sent us to the harbourmaster in Split, we sailed around
to Split, it being quicker than taxi, and tied up at the harbourmasters office
quay, a guy came and told us we couldn't stay there, by this time I was a tad
irritable, I explained to him that we could! Harbourmaster was lovely, no
problems, explained the rules to me and we relaxed, motored around to a nice
quiet anchorage within a 10 minute dinghy ride of Trogir and chilled out at
last, very early bed and slept like logs, getting too old for these early
easyjet flights. Fabulous weather and sea so warm, went to Trogir this morning,
great place, enormous market where we stocked up on fresh fruit and veg, took
the dinghy right to the market, lovely. All well, did a few jobs on p3 this
afternoon and swam and snoozed and all well.
