Great place to get stuff done, not pretty! Miles
from the soulless town of El Egido this vast marina stands in a massive
development of hundreds of, mostly empty, flats, they are still building more,
why? Its a mystery. However, forgot to mention in the last blog that our
starboard mast winch fell overboard on our trip here! Fairly disastrous, I have
never heard of it happening before and neither has the chandler, he is obviously
not as upset as we are as he swcouts around for another or the replacement
parts, I can see £500 going on this, never mind, thats sailing! Good day with
lots of jobs done, sunshine and light breezes, organised transport to and from
airport and ordered lots of bits we have been having trouble
locating.
