Hi All,
We are still anchored in Havannah Harbour and have
spent the day in Vilagetting on top of our administrivia and other necessaries
of life.
The day started early with us getting ashore by
0730 to catch a bus into Port Vila. A "bus" here refers to 15 seater vans which
run to no particlar schedule and which if you are lucky will pick you up and
take yu to where you actually want to go. We were fortunate to strike Ben at
0845 running well late for work and with enough seats left to take us into
Vila.
In Vila we had a cafe breakfast, then went over to
Yachting World to pick up the box of schoolwork and mail which Ange has sent us
- all received in good order, school reports included.
After a look around, a catch up on email, some
lunch and some shopping, we hopped back on the bus and headed back to the boat
where surprise surprise, a bunch of other rally boats have turned up. So,
sundowners on Kharisma II and back on board to fall in a heap.
The next few days we will spend in and around
Havannah Harbour while we progress some school work and hopefully we will be
close to up to date by the end of the term (end of next week,
apparrently...).
Until tomorrow, TTFN
