21.01.8124S 175.16.4428W Hi All, Slight delay in getting this posted due to me
managing to lock ourselves out of the satphone, and having to wait until Monday
US time to get a PUK Code. Might write that one down for future
reference... We have had several really good days at Pangimotu
Is, but we have now left and are on the way to the Ha'apai Group. Last Night we
had an excellent tuna dinner with Phil, Helen and Chris off "Dolce Vita", and we
enjoyed their company immensly once again. Today we had an early start getting
Allan and Angus ashore to Nuku 'Alofa with John and Lynne in "Windflower" - it
has been a pretty full on month with them onboard, and we are sad to see them
go. We then had to collect the last of our fuel, head across to Nuku'Alofa to
clear customs (internally within Tonga) and pick up the last of our
supplies. The next few days willl see us making our way
slowly north to the Vava'u Group, where we will meet up with my friend Bob
Williams who is on the homeward leg of a circumnavigation in his yacht "Sylph".
We should see him sometime next week. Anyway, dinner is on the able, so
TTFN! |
