Hi All,
A quiet one today, an early morning walk on the
pristine beach followed by a day of school and general maintenance stuff. It has
been nice to spend some time in order to attend to some of the smaller things,
such as polishing stainless steel etc.
This afternon we went ashore and walked along the
main road for about an hour, and then walked back to the beach, where we sat
around just chatting for about an hour with the other cruisers in the bay. Most
people's thoughts are beginning to turn towards home again, many have only come
away for a single season and are back to their normal life after cruising. For
us it is an interesting time - he girls are finally realising that their life is
about to change and they are both excited about their new life, but reticent
about leaving the one they now know so well. Change is alway
interesting!
The weather is going through a settled phase at the
moment and so we will most likely be remaining here for another day, before
sailing across to the Ilse Des Pines overnight Saturday. But then cruising plans
are written in sand below the high water mark....
