Dear All,
Finally got away from Tutkaka! Yesterday we went
for a walk out to the headland (you need to await low tide or suffer wet feet).
We got away about 0830 this morning and had a great sail down. Bon Accord
Harbour is a big indentation in the middle of Kawau Is and is very popular with
yachties. We reckon it is actually better than the Bay of Islands (heresy!) and
we will probably spend a couple of days here. The girls are not overjoyed at the
prospect of being in Schoolhouse Bay for too long....
