Not a lot to report today; had good sleep, two
long spells, and the weather has broken giving some sun through to mid
afternoon. At the time of writing I can see the next low developing out to the
west and the first drops of rain have fallen. We continue with the wind up our
tail but as it is lighter and reliably consistent I have had the spinnaker up
since 10 o' clock this morning. The forecast suggests I shall probably
have to take it down at tea time. We are in for a blow, developing overnight,
through Wednesday and into Thursday. We can't avoid it so we will have to
tough it out, I am advised that tropical storm Colin has exploded over
Greenland spawning lows right across the Atlantic, this one is apparently
heading for Spain and the Med and there are more to come!
Tiding ship, feeding and sleeping ready for the
strong weather.
