I spoke to Dad again at 21:23 this evening. He is continuing to make progress westward, today's position is 49.34N 24.22W. He abandoned his southerly track at 22:00 last night because the wind/wave combination made it very uncomfortable and so he turned west again. Interesting choice of phrase, uncomfortable, as he has spent the day today (more comfortably!) in a strong Force 7 being thrown around endlessly.
He started a second course of antibiotics last night and early indications are that they may be working. He sounded much better and a little cheerier - and again was keen for updates on the position of fellow Jesters. We have been pouring over Atlantic weather forecast charts trying to pass information on to him to help decide his best route options.
