End The good ship Ella Trout is Doing Fine her crew
however have had their Moments .After a couple of bouts of Mal de Mer Sandra has
been fine and a real brick taking on the cooking. The skipper has had to
put up with his usual two days of upset.
The first night was B awful, very lumpy sea beating
into a force 5. The wind had suddenly swung against us halfway down
Cardigan Bay and it took until Sunday evening when we had a beautiful sunset and
a starry starry night. Sandra then proceeded to teach me the
constellations, there's always something to learn about your family
We have arrive at Lands End Monday 0515 hours
and once round the corner we are drifting along under spinnaker and suddenly
everything is very pleasant.
ETA Plymouth early hours Tuesday morn.
Crews thoughts: Fishwatch none save what the
gannets have had
Dolphin watch several!!!!!!!!! Bellissimo!
Sunburnt nose watch one red whopper!
Rum
ration none found so far but many more lockers to search!
Boom
bashes to the head one spectacular event within 2 minutes of boarding vessel
witnessed and commented on by able seapersons Brian and Jackie
Cups of tea consumed more than in my entire lifetime!
New bedtime stories for Jonny and Rosie abundant!
Signing off because the kettles just
boiled.
