Yes still trying to get south of the iceberg area with the wind resisting all the way. Currently the wind is howling in the rigging, we have three reefs inthe mainsail and a half rolled No 3 jib and the wind is coming straight from the SE corner of the berg area which I am trying to get round. I have marked that position Ice 2 on my chart. On the 2nd June I reached the edge of the iceberg area and Ice 2 was 200 miles tro the south of me. I have already sail 300 miles since then and I'm still 30 miles away.  All being well I should get round that point some time Sunday, six days to achieve 200 miles, at this rate I'll not gwet to Newport till christmas!!!

At the moment I'm hal f way through an Ella Trout hash - Tin of corned beef, tin of butter beans, tin of mixed veg, half a tin of tomato and basil soup left over from yesterday and a packet of Uncle
Bens rice.  Very tasty, quick and easy, makes three or four meals.

I ate my last orange today, I've six apples left and I've finished my first cabbage (2nd cabbage looks ok) - all good. The carrots were poor, rotted in a few days and the parsnips also went mouldy quickly and were very bitter.  Potatos and sweet potatos, still got some all good.  Don't think I'll lose weight this trip even though it will take quite a bit longer
