Monday 5th August

The plan was to sail over to Northeast Harbor this morning and pick up a buoy, then return the Wreghitts to their car ashore and despatch them on their way back towards Boston, do the laundry and replenish the food & drink stocks, however we were told that all of the buoys had been pre-booked for several days by a yacht club.

This meant that we had to have a rethink and it ended up with us again sailing over to Northeast Harbor and going alongside a water float, then whilst we topped up the tanks, we also launched the dinghy and ran Chris, Wendy and Jack ashore and bade them farewell.

We then returned to the buoy in Southwest Harbor and having tidied up the boat again, we took the dinghy ashore. On the way, we discovered Nimue sat on one of the buoys belonging to Hinckley Yachts and with advice from them, we headed straight to the Hinckley Yachts dinghy dock and brazenly marched past the dock security and took advantage of their showers, toilets and laundry.
