Nothing more has been heard from Rob and Andy and so I assume that they made it to the airport on time or else are camping out there until the next plane arrives.

The day was a bit deflating now that the Rally is over - resting, doing laundry, buying bits and pieces from the chandlery and final cleaning up after the boys left.  It was windless and very hot, with the aircon running much of the afternoon.  In the evening I went to dinner at a nice restaurant in town with Blonde Moment as it was Sarah's last night before leaving.

Tomorrow, I am going to explore the town with Jackie and Paul.  Initial impressions are a bit disappointing as I had expected an old historic place with lots of culture but it is in fact quite built up and, with lots of Brits around, there is a bit of a "Kiss me Quick" feel about the place.  Although it is not quite Benidorm!

Jim, Lyn and Julian - the crew for the next leg, through the Straits of Gibraltar and into the Med, are arriving on Saturday and we leave on Sunday.  I shall just be lazing around until then and so there will not be much to report until the sailing resumes.
