We set off early to catch buses to explore the northerly coast and then across to the Atlantic west coast

The local buses were a hoot - 2 Bajan dollars - equivalent to 1USD gets you one trip as far as you wish. Mike was a gret tour guide - sorting out the bus timetable so that we made our way across the island on time

We arrived at our destination, Bathsheba, which is half way down the west coast following a bouncy 1 hour ride and then walked to a fabulous restaurant/guest house, The Round House. We enjoyed the wonderful views and a great locally produced quiche - along with a couple of 'Banks' local beers

Barbados is more sophisticated than St Lucia and very British - along with a number of Canadians

Another wonderful evening meal happy hour was enjoyed at a beach bar
