Today we have started to see how magnificent this the Atlantic Ocean is. As forecast the wind has picked up - unfortunately from the wrong direction - and we are now working our way towards our goal to skirt under the SW winds and weather to punch through to the trades on the other side. Associate is coping well - as are the crew - and we are alternatively working the boat, reading or snoozing.

They say that it takes 4 days or so to settle into the rhythm of a voyage like this and it seems to have happened with us with lots of laughter and 'in jokes' developing as we work together as crew towards our goal of St Lucia - and those elusive NE trade winds
