This is why we sailed the Atlantic........
We moved around the corner into the next bay which is guarded by two
enormous pinnacle mountains - The Pitons
Once more we were helped by a local boat 'boy' - aged about 45 - to pick up
a SMMA mooring - you are not allowed to anchor in the park - amongst a couple of
very large motor yachts. Following a quick snorkel we dinghy'd ashore to the
Sugar Beach Club - and enjoyed sundowners amongst the rich - mostly
Americans
The scurity guard who met us asked which boat we were from - exclaimed - oh
the little one......somewhat humbling
This is the St Lucia of the tourist books and why people come here.
Beautiful white sand and a gloriuos resort. Rather be on our little ship
though
Wonderful sunset saw us having supper in the cockpit serenaded by the beach
band
