Finally we arrived in Amalfi at 18:30 and waited to berth till 20:00.  The port was full so we refuelled and we berthed after asking permission from the Capitaneria di Porto who let us anchor and stern berth by the hydrofoil pier, as long as we would be leaving by 07:00 next morning.

Amalfi with its charming village just few kilometers east of Positano tucked between the mountains and overlooking the glittering bay of Salerno. We went walking to see the this picturesque town with pavement cafes and quaint shops abound along the narrow stepped streets. Jack Lemon came back to our memories in the movie ''Avanti'', walking there I could think only of the servant and the man preparing the documents for the funeral with his seal stamps in his raincoat on his Vespa. Lots of restaurants around with traditional dishes where it was Michalis turn to choose one. Great dinner!

We plan to visit 27th July Agropolis and the temple in Paestum so we have to wake up early and take advantage of some fresh breeze seen in the forecast.
