Armenistis
Mon 22 Oct 2007 22:59

''Armenistis'' was bought as COHIBA I, she was found via the French brokers AYC,  November 2007 in Chania Crete from a French couple who had decided to stop their cruising and settled in Chania. We inspected the boat in October 2007, we found her in excellent state above and below the waterline and purchased her, renaming her to ''ARMENISTIS'' registered in Nice , France. Oceanis 473 Clipper was designed by the Finot Group for easy cruising and for long voyages.

The hull has the stability of shape, stability of progress and balance when heeling. With a draft of 2,00meters has a good performance to all points of sail. Living aboard is comfortable space wise with plenty of light and ventilation through many portholes and hatches. The great cockpit and the very clear foredeck allow a pleasant life on the deck. The twin steering station offers the helmsman very good visibility and space to move.

It is not a sailboat made for the southern circle but it can easily sail around the world considering and modifying certain things which we may discuss at a later stage.

The photos below are the real ones when we inspected her and the last one is an Oceanis473 taken from a brochure that shows her bow look.
