After loosing one in the early afternoon and in the early evening, at 20:00 the wind was around 12kts and our speed with both full sails was 8kts. Michalis was practising the reel drill and suddenly shouted ''τραβάει, τραβάει'' (It's pulling, you could hear the reel going very fast);  it took us fifteen minutes to get this Albacore tuna (nicknamed ''veal of the Carthusians'' due to the similarity with veal) which we weighed 9 kgs.
A great feeling we all had. Then the even harder work started:cleaning the fish, blood all over hanging it, plenty of roe, cutting slices for the freezer and at the end the tail part for an immediate Sashimi.....!
It s definately going to be a tuna week.
By the time we had cleaned and store it the sun was setting in the west.....
