Title: March 2008 sailing around Saronic and Argolikos Gulf

March 2008 the boat was hauled in the water in Porto Cheli and we sailed to Tourkolimano, Pireaus as guests in the Pireaus Sailing Club (Ι.Ο.Π.) Crew was Christiana (my wife) and George again. The trip was with no wind till we reached Modi island and had some nice northerly wind. We tried all kinds of sail combinations and the boat was behaving very well even close hauled with both light and medium wind.

We also sailed few times within the Argolic and Saronic Gulfs from March to June 2008 and once we participated as Racing Committee boat in the Modi race of ΙΟΠ.

The plans for the summer 2008 were to sail with the strong meltemi in the Cyclades and the Dodecanes and try again the boat in strong winds. This would be our last trial before we take the final decision to participate in the ARC2009 tranatlantic race and leave plenty of time to prepare properly the boat.
