Hello friends,
arrived in Trinidad Tuesday the 13th April and when I arrived in Peake 's yard and entered the boat I thought I was in the small steel shack where the Japanese where punishing war prisoners In ''The Bridge of River Kwai''.

45degrees centigrade, the dehumidifier was working well the interior was in very good state so I was glad to see that.

Opened all hatches and turned on the two fans. The decision to rent a dehumidifier was a good one but instead I should have rented an air conditioner which was slightly more expensive but not that much.

So first night was a night mare and next day I decided to book a room in Peake’s motel for two nights till I haul the boat in the water.

Started checking all electronics and things look well.

Wednesday the 14th visited the service office to arrange the scrapping and the antifouling which was done Thursday 15th and in the water Friday 16th. Everything went well.

The Internet doesn’t function well so so photos may not be visible..

My crew was supposed to arrive yesterday 17th but due to the volcanic eruption in Iceland it is unknown when/if they will be coming. We see what will happen till then there is plenty of work to do and today Sunday is very very hot, I need to work on the generator and I doubt if I can go into this whole!

Even putting the outboard on the dinghy is hard but I need it to go on shore instead of rowing I am at the pier but I cannot get out from the stern I am too far and don’t want to go further astern, there is a lot of traffic and they make a lot of wake.

So that’s for today will talk to you later.
