First English soil
in the travel of half the World. Family together all ashore courtesy of the
military Air Bridge flight form Ascension Island.
Chums waiting, a
very special reunion with our English logistics and radio watch, it was big hugs
for Roy Dunning and his wife Jen, a job of rescue communications well done that
helped save our lives from the Ice berg collision of the Souuthern
Ocean.
The three items we
no doubt owe our lives too.
Luck of God to find
a Warship in range of our distress. HMS Clyde a fantastic
team.
The solid build of
our yacht Hollinsclough an English Oyster, floated for 36 hours afeter ice berg
growler impact tore up her starboard side.
The modern
communications systems of satelite comms and the mailasail data network that
kept the whole team of suport on line in our darkest hours.
