Out of Recife, an evening stop at Rio Suape in the
shadow of the Eco resort do Cabo posh hotel and then the Island de Santo Alexio
before anchoring amongst half a dozen fishing boats at Tamandare.
Reef all around, yellow sand beaches, palm trees
and the fort de Santo Inacio. Fishermen on the reef edges, two in flat raft
boats made of a few planks use long sticks like punts for
propulsion.
