Bahia Anihue

Bahia Mala at the north end of the canal Refugio, direct from the set of the ‘Sound of Music’, epic Patagonian country, a sneak look at the Pacific swell from the Golf of Corcavado and slipped behind Isla O’Brien into the bay of Anihue.

Tree jungle rose from the sea on all sides and touched the clouds above for another breathtaking anchorage. Dolphin all over the bay, they chased the dingy as we set lines.

A smart house on the shore, SSB chap Juan Carlos and the Szydlowskiu family long gone but we met the residents who gave us fresh bread. Winds building from the north so parked up for a few days.
