Surprise A Saturday
evening surprise for tea time. 18.00 Falklands local time the AIS computer
spotted the 350 foot passenger cruiser Prince Albert II. He was South Georgia
heading Falklands in reverse of the weather that was carrying us forward. We
chatted on the VHF, all is well, best advice was he had seen no ice since the
islands, we left him battling wind that was good for us and set bedtime to the
warm feeling of an ice free run. Sunday
wind was strong, Past north of Shag Rocks a little after midnight, seas for
sunrise most confused yet. A bumpy breakfast, sailing just on the cutter with
strong winds. 6am Falklands local our position is 53.13.50 S 41.25.00 W |
