Sailing south for Christmas.
A return to the epic vistas of Patagonian snow
topped volcanoes, cloudy mornings warming into afternoon sunshine. An evening on
the Caberniros Police mooring at Isla Mechuque in the company of wild
swans.
Many Humbolt Penguines enjoying Pacific fishing in
the Gulf of Ancud then Canal Chiguao for a return to Puerto Quellon, a
safe anchorage amongst the fishing fleet and friendly VHF with the Armada
station for our Zarpe to Puerto Aguire.
