Caleta Finte giant jelly fish
Hollinsclough - Is the World Round?

Onward north between
Profirio Islands, narrow rock ledges closing our route up the channel to a third
of a mile. Junction of Expectaion Bay to port and Sarratea Bay to starboard.
Galaza Point focused the autopilot to a narrow gateway at Seno Fuentes. Still
twenty knots of grey wind whipping down fell away to the mirror calm long pencil
shaped bay of Caleta Finte. 50.21.80 S 74.22.50 W Tall green walls to
steep mountains blocking the best of the afternoon sunshine. The water was awash
with colour, with steamy breath we
peered in to see swarms of giant jelly fish all about, Pastels of pink, red and
orange, four giant frilly legs to bells most half a meter
across. |
