OOJAH's AWESOME ODYSSEY

The wind stayed uncharactistically light for a week when we arrived although the trade winds are meant to re establishing now. We checked in at Great Harbour, Jost Van Dyke home of Foxy's Bar. The setting is idyllic. A mile to the South is White Bay & 2 more famous watering holes, The Soggy Dollar & the best of the lot Ivan's. A short visit was made to each in the interest of journalistic accuracy! We then motored to Little Jost Van Dyke before the short passages to Cane Garden Bay & Sopers Hole both on the principle island Tortola. It rained very heavily for 12 hours half filling the dinghy but we met some fun Americans drinking their way through the morning in Pussars which helped. Next was Norman Island where the snorkelling was excellent but we had a monster thunderstorm one evening - interesting!

Lv to all,
