The 50nm crossing from Puerto Mogan did not go to plan. The forecast was a beat into 10kts but the reality once we were half way was gusting 27 kts. We got soaked. Christene said heads would roll on arrival but I'm still here. We were going to anchor but conditions were not suitable so we called up a marina & they were full. Our 2nd & only other choice would not answer the phone or the radio so we pressed on with our fingers crossed - at the last minute they responded & we were in & comfortably moored up. Today we've learned there's big winds coming in next week so we're going to try & get to Gomera tomorrow before we get trapped in South Tenerife. On top of that we having more problems connecting to the Internet which is the most frustrating & time consuming business, however I've finally cured the toilet smell so it's not all bad news.
