Our first trip with Colin was a sail of 47nm back to the little cove we anchored in on our way to Antalya.  We had a great evening there having a barbecue on shore.  Colin was in the Fire Brigade before he retired and is a real expert in lighting fires…..it made me wonder if firemen are on a bonus scheme.  Some friendly Turks were there and they presented us with some little fish which looked like they had been upholstered in deck chair material. It was a bit busier in the cove as three small fishing boats were in there. We motored nearly all the way so not much to report about the journey except it was a beautiful sunny day.

Back to the fire theme though. I have just found some photos of the fire station in Antalya

Between fires the staff have a lovely area to sit out in. As well as the engine in this picture they had this Tonka toy.

I want one…….
