A great start to the trip averaging 6.3 kts but
unfortunately the wind has dropped and the tide gone against us so we are down
to a water speed of 4.5kts which with adverse tide is giving 3 kts over the
ground. There has a been a little bit of commercial traffic which has been well
behaved.The sea has gone very flat so I have taken the opportunity to download
some pictures from my phone. I am only including one as I haven't quite got into
using the sputnik phone.
Leaving Poole harbour.
The tide should go with us again at about 2200.
Just about to heat up some home made soup in my new
microwave.........
