Position: 46 36.34N 6 38 75W at 1330 UT on 16.09.10. Course 033 speed 5.5SOG.

Minka has made good progress in pretty flat seas with just enough wind to help. We have not used as much fuel as we expected so are now aiming for St Peter Port, Guernsey as our next stop.

We are now about 125nm SW of the Ile D'Oussant which is the little island off the NW corner of France. We expect to go between that and the mainland at about this time tomorrow.

I did a few sums yesterday and then we had covered 1,110nm since leaving Mazarron measured by GPS but 1209 measured through the water. This means we have had a net 100nm of tide/current against us so far.

It is very quiet out here with no ships in sight or evren radar range. The weather is till kind to us and I m certainly not complaining about an easy passage across Biscay.
