I had a good walk around Figuiera da Foz and bought some groceries in a very good covered market. It is a very pleasant town and helpful friendly people.

The spinnaker needed a wash to get the salt out of it as the bottom of it went in the water when I dropped it. Some helpful French cruising people helped me lay it out on the pontoon and hose it down. I then put it up to dry and had a siesta.

When I woke up there was a good north wind blowing so I set off for Peniche. I have gone about ten nm offshore to escape the lobster pots and have done 20nm already. The wind has now dropped a bit.but it is a lovely sunny evening so I am enjoying a gentle sail south.

That's how flat it is. Just getting a bit cooler now. Let's hope this sends ok now.
