The weather forecast was reasonably optimistic and promised the wind would move around to the north which is what we have been waiting for. A very overcast day with fog over the land. So we filled up with water and diesel and left Coruna at about 1230.

This is the Tower of Hercules from the sea.  What a shame it just looks like a factory chimney in the mist.

There was enough wind to sail out of Coruna Bay and set course west. It has been patchy since so have done a bit of motor assisted sailing. We have just passed the Islas Sisargas and are now able to sail south west.

The Islas which we gave a fair offing

As you can see not a wonderful day. I am not sure where I am going at the moment but I will be sailing all night and may get into Vigo late tomorrow,  or if the wind is in my side carry on. I need to find that sunshine.
