The weather forecast was reasonably optimistic and
promised the wind would move around to the north which is what we have been
waiting for. A very overcast day with fog over the land. So we filled up with
water and diesel and left Coruna at about 1230.
![]() This is the Tower of Hercules from the sea.
What a shame it just looks like a factory chimney
in the mist.
There was enough wind to sail out of Coruna Bay and
set course west. It has been patchy since so have done a bit of motor assisted
sailing. We have just passed the Islas Sisargas and are now able to sail south
west.
![]() As you can see not a wonderful day. I am not sure
where I am going at the moment but I will be sailing all night and may get into
Vigo late tomorrow, or if the wind is in my side carry on. I need to find
that sunshine.
