Lagos to Vilamoura

My trip today has been one of the easiest. It was
only 28 nm and the wind and seas were very kind so it only took just over four
hours. I was visited by the Portugese Navy in a small warship but they didn't
stop. The coast is very developed which is predictable as there are some
wonderful beaches. In some places there are red cliffs with caves caused by
erosion. Slightly worryingly houses have been built on top of these cliffs.I saw
another sailing boat out today so summer must be coming. A bit like hearing the
first cuckoo.
Vilamoura marina is huge. I am parked amongst a
forest of expensive tupperware mostly with British flags. It seems they never go
anywhere which is a good thing as they burn x gallons a minute. I don't know
what the map looks like but if the satellite view is recent it must look bonkers
from the air.
I will leave in the morning before I get plastic
poisoning and will head for Ayamonte which is about 45nm. Sorry no pictures
today.............don't ask. It is enough to know I suffered from a
technological senior moment.
