After yesterday in Sines which has not improved since we went there 15 years ago and it poured with rain all day we left this morning at 0630 for the 60 mile passage south and then round Cape St Vincent. Insufficient wind all day for sailing so we motored all the way in company with two other boats,Maximilian and Moin. The upside of no wind was that the Cape was in in ''pussycat condition'' with flat sea and only a little swell. We have now turned East along the Algarve coast and are anchored in Sagres bay which is about 20 miles west of Lagos. The sea temperature rose during the day from 17C to 20C. Moin has gone straight on to Morocco but we may see them again in Cape Verde.
