We are still in Mindelo awaiting crew and another
boat---it looks as though we may leave this weekend.
In the meantime we have been out and about in
Mindelo.
We visited the fish market where a fresh catch of
tuna, amongst other smaller fish were being gutted and sold. We bought 4 large
tuna steaks for about 500 CV escudos(approx just over £4).
![]() ![]() ![]() The streets are lined with locals trying to earn a
crust---even a chandlery!

called to refuel yesterday). They are on transfer passages to meet their
owners in the Caribbean.

and smiley.
