Apologies for hiatus in narrative. Communication is really difficult here. The wonderful new wifi bat can pick up lots of signals but most of them are locked and a lot of the open ones are tantalisingly weak. I have wasted a lot of time glued to the computer trying to establish a workable link when I should have been admiring the scenery and living the moment. Phone stopped working altogether last few days and turned out to be no signal available. It is very remote here
On our way now to another Aran island which is also unlikely to have a signal.
Hope this gets through today as we go along the coast.
