Day 4

Today was John’s birthday.  This was celebrated in all the style we could muster; prezzies, cards, special cakes, bottle of Cava and best of all, the cruising chute up all afternoon!

We have had a great 24 hour run, only taking the cruising chute down because it was nightfall; it went up at first light this morning. We have made 159 miles in a homeward direction and we are looking at doing something similar over the next 24 hours.

It is now looking as if there will be no escaping a windless period, because the high pressure is blocking our approach to England, Our hoped for arrival on Monday has almost definitely been extended to Tuesday.
