Well, we're only about 50 miles from our destination so that's great. Not much happened onboard Saxon Blue today. I had my morning chat with Bill on Alerre - things are getting a bit better over there and Kentucky Mike found a way to cook scrambled eggs and baked beans - he's using the coffee maker. Necessity is the mother of invention, and all that.

I didn't feel so great this morning - I think I got too hot and bothered overnight. It's getting very warm and the sea is now over 30 degrees C all the time. I felt better as the day wore on and I'm OK now, just in time to go to bed. The sun is about to set and then I'll get a few hours sleep before Kali wakes me up when we approach our final harbour.

So far, I've seen 6 birds today so things are really hotting up on the wildlife front, as well. It's been an incredibly fast passage and, at the moment, we're ahead of the Swan which is amazing as they are reckoned to be a faster boat than us. I think their destination is closer, though, so they may well drop the hook before we do.

Harvey
