Andrea and I came on watch at 0400 this morning after not really sleeping atall so we were both the worse for wear. As we gradually woke up a bit, the wind moved a bit and we could turn the engine off and sail. We could see the coast of Cumberland peninsula to Port and then behind us as we turned to head South. Pretty soon, though, it was lost in the fog and we didn't see much after that. We both went back to bed again at 0800, put some ear plugs in and got a much better sleep until just after noon. We've had some lunch now and we're about to go back on watch.

We've been sailing almost all day although the wind is falling a bit now so we may soon have to put the engine back on. There's a fair swell left over from the winds over the last few days but it's pretty comfortable at the moment and we're making good time. I was feeling nervous last night about our long passage but I'm feeling a lot better now that I've had a good sleep and our great crew are both feeling confident.

Harvey
