Title: We can see Greenland

60:33.673N 041:02.739W Saturday afternoon

Finally, we can see the mountains of Greenland on the Starboard bow. It's been a fast crossing but very windy and Richard has been the only one not sick - and even he was feeling rough and off his food.

Jamie, Richard and I are sitting up in the cockpit now in 18 odd knots of wind all chatting and feeling good - this wouldn't have happened a few hours ago, though. I was in bed for over 24 hours unable to get up or eat anything, just struggling to drink enough and not throw it back up. Not very nice. Jamie had a similarly hard time.

Apart from that, it's been a succession of watches in rough seas with winds of between 30 and 40 knots. Saxon Blue sailed well but with quartering seas of that size, it was always going to be uncomfortable. We're all really looking forward to our first anchorage and a quiet sleep followed by a massive feed.

Harvey
